Prior to today’s session, contact families and ask them to send or email you a photo of their family with their child. You may want to have a camera handy to take one at the door and print it off if you have the capability at church. Photos of families from magazines can be used. Obtain self-adhesive magnetic strips and a metal tray. Cut the photos apart, place a magnetic strip on the back of each piece and place the pieces on the tray in random order. Encourage children to put the pictures back together on the tray and identify the people in the completed photo. As you relate todays Bible emphasis, bring the idea of families into the session.
