Pour milk into small cups. Use a few drops of food color to color each cup of milk. Place unused watercolor brushes on the table with the colored milk and slices of bread. Guide a child to use a brush to “paint” the milk onto a piece of bread. When she finishes, slide her bread into a toaster oven to toast it. Talk about the Bible story while the bread toasts. Mention that bread is made from grain. Remove the bread and thank God. Talk more about the Bible story and Bible verses as children eat their toast.
